Mahua Gupta is a contemporary visual artist whose work bridges emotion, memory, and cultural heritage through expressive visual language. Based in Jammu, India, her artistic journey spans over a decade, encompassing painting, art education, and curatorial contributions.

Her canvases often reflect layered textures and symbolic motifs, drawing from both urban life and traditional Indian aesthetics. Whether capturing the quietude of nature, the complexity of human emotion, or the strength of feminine identity, Mahua’s paintings evoke both introspection and dialogue.

A graduate of Jammu University with a Master’s in Psychology and degrees in Home Science and Education, Mahua brings a unique blend of empathy, intellect, and craft to her work. Her educational background infuses her art with psychological depth and social awareness.

She has showcased her work in prominent art exhibitions across India, including:
